A closer look at the Balenciaga x Adidas Triple S sneaker

This is the hottest footwear of the season

Trendsetters and followers have been looking forward to the Balenciaga x Adidas collaboration. And finally last May 23, the Spanish house quenched the longing when it offered a full look of the collaboration through the spring 2023 presentation in New York City.

The apparel collection, which took inspiration from sportswear silhouettes back in the late 90s and early 2000s, is a success with the sneaker collaboration demanding more spotlight. For the capsule, Balenciaga and Adidas marry their insignias for the most loved dad sneakers, the Triple S.

For this capsule’s iterations, the Triple S sneakers are given two colorways: white with black and gray, and blue with white. Both models come leather-free, with double form and mesh, and three-layered outsole.

For the branding, logos are embroidered on the sides while the back features an embossed logo of Adidas’s trefoil with Balenciaga text below. The shoes’ size is also embroidered on the edge of the toe box, while bi-color laces can be seen intertwined on the shoes athletic lacing system.
