LOOK: Aape by A Bathing Ape links up with Tommy Hilfiger for new collection
It features a unisex skate-inspired capsule
Back in Jan. 8, 2022, Aape teased on social media with a post of a broken skateboard bearing Aape’s logo and Tommy Hilfiger’s iconic red, blue, and white color motifs. A week later, the partnership dropped their sophomore collection through a campaign featuring a group of skater.
Aape’s signature camo was married with Tommy’s colors of red, white, and blue, taking form in hooded shirts and turtleneck vests. Sweater hoodies and pullovers were kept in solid colors of green, yellow, white, black, and gray but the co-branded logos of Aape and Tommy Hilfiger. There were choices of plain and patterned beanie for accessories while the limited-edition skateboard was given fir free upon spending a designated amount at selected Aape stores.
