This Comme des Garçons x Vans collab is the first on our 2022 must-have wishlist
We like it ‘Old Skool’
It was October last year when Vans and Comme des Garçons partnered for a skateboard-inspired collection. Three months later, the successful team-up is back at it, involving one of Vans’ most popular silhouettes, the Old-Skool Low.
Unlike their last collaboration that was monogrammed with CDG’s initials all over the upper, this iteration sports a cleaner, simpler look. The upper of the Old-Skool Low model is kept in all-white as well as the leather overlays on the toe cap, heels, and around lace eyelets. Vans’ “Off the Wall” branding can be seen stamped on the heel while the “CDG” branding is repeated around the midsole area.
The all-white CDG x Vans Old-Skool shoe will be available on Jan. 7, 2022 at CDG stores and Dover Street Market.
