LOOK: Human Made launches new series called ‘Past Made’

The first two offerings give a nod to the year of the tiger

Nigo joins the list of designers reviving their archival collections with the launch of Human Made’s “Past Made” series which centers on refreshing pieces from the brand’s past seasons. 

“As the name suggests, our Past Made series focuses on past seasons from Human Made, which celebrates its 23rd season this season. It is a new attempt to revive items from the archive by adding new interpretations using the idea ‘The Future is in the Past,’” explains the brand on social media. 

For its first drop, the brand releases two leather rider jackets from their archive. The leather jackets now sport a tiger graphic printed at the back associated with this year’s Chinese zodiac and the brand’s signature catch phrase “Gears for futuristic teenagers.” Made with cowhide leather, the material is said to have been through an aging process to give the feel of vintage gear making it look worn yet timeless.
