Here’s a closer look at the Richardson x Converse Addict sneaker
We all know a pair of Converse is one of the toughest sneakers one could own. These sneakers are built to withstand wear and tear often designed for working out, sporting, and leisure activities. But can you imagine a pair of Jack Purcell made with Gore-tex and paracord? Tough will be an understatement.
For Holiday 2021, Richardson x Converse Addict is unveiling a collection formed in another iconic Converse silhouette, the Jack Purcell. This weatherproof sneaker is arguably the toughest model to date. The suede side panels are infused with Gore-tex lining to repel wet weather and shoe strings are of strong paracord. The shoes come in black and white colorways with Richardson branding seen on the tongue as well as on the side panels. The Jack Purcell signature white toe-cap is still in place while stitching is in white contrasting the black suede of the upper.
For the campaign, the shoes were modeled by artist Paul McCarthy and photographed by Glen Luchford who are both long-time collaborators of the Richardson brand.
