We’re obsessing over this new Chucks collaboration and its well-worn look
Converse links up with Seoul-based brand This Is Never That
If you’re a lover of pre-loved items, this collab might just be right up your alley. These sneakers may have never been worn but it looks like it is courtesy of Converse and Seoul-based streetwear brand, This Is Never That.
The Chuck 70 iteration utilizes hairy suede upper and unique finishing with an oxidized effect on the midsole. The model is a distinctive blend between old and new with modern details but has vintage, faded colors. The sneakers are co-branded by This Is Never That and Converse’s logos which can be seen on the tongue and sole of the shoe.
“Our first collaboration with the Seoul-based streetwear label reinterprets a ‘90s street mood on the Chuck 70, One Star, and fall gear. Utilizing faded colors and materials and unique finishing treatments, the designs recreate the well-worn look of Converse icons from the past. It’s a distinct blend of old and new—a collection of fresh, modern styles with a vintage feel,” shares Converse on their social media.
