LOOK: Batman debuts at Lanvin’s spring-summer 2022 show
The pieces will make you feel like a young, fashion-forward Master Wayne
Bringing youthful energy to the house of Lanvin, designer Bruno Sialelli infuses Tim Burton’s 1992 Batman to some of the house’s spring-summer 2022 pieces.
Batman may be used to hiding in the dark but for Lanvin’s spring-summer 2022 collection, the DC Comics star gets put on the spotlight as garments appear on the runway with motifs of the well-known comic character.
A headliner of the collection is the Curb sneaker from Lanvin as it features Batman’s head as tongue, while disguising the sneaker in purple, black, and pink colorways. Few of the standouts from the garments are the half-printed purple and black polo, Batmobile-printed sleeveless top, purple satin bomber jacket, and a neutral-colored blazer featuring art of Batman and Robin.
“Lanvin SS22 solidifies Bruno Sialelli’s vision of the Lanvin man today, a combination of classical formal French wear and progressive design elements resulting in a fresh take on the modern man’s wardrobe,” shares Lanvin on social media.
