Get ready to see more of the star from this autumn to next summer
Johnny Huang first debuted on the big screen back in 2016 and garnered widespread attention and praise in the Chinese film industry. In 2018, with the screening of “Operation Red Sea,” Johnny became a household name as the film became a hit worldwide.
The Dangdong-born actor since has received a number of acting awards such as Best Newcomer at the 13th Asian Film Awards and Best Actor in a Chinese Contemporary TV Series at the 24th Huading Awards. Now, Swiss fashion luxury house Bally names him as one of their brand ambassadors and the face of its autumn-winter 2021 and spring-summer 2022 seasonal campaigns.
“We are thrilled to have Johnny Huang join us as Bally’s new brand ambassador. He is a formidable actor, and his dynamic personality and modern sense of style are perfectly matched with Bally’s pioneering spirit and cultural reverence,” says Nicolas Girotto, CEO of Bally.
Later this year, the new Bally ambassador will inaugurate the Bally Hike Pop-up in Beijing’s China World. As an avid nature activist and sports enthusiast, Johnny will host the launch of this special outdoors-inspired capsule featuring bold hiking boots, ready-to-wear pieces, and accessories, created in collaboration with renowned fashion stylist Robert Rabensteiner.
“It’s a great honor to be chosen as Bally’s brand ambassador. This particular year is so special as it marks Bally’s milestone 170th anniversary. A brand with such a rich heritage is bound to carry forward the vitality of over a century of continuous innovation and design,” says the award-winning Chinese actor.
