In celebration of Chinese Valentine’s Day, Gucci released a new campaign to accompany its collection decorated with the Gucci Les Pommes motif. The day—also known as Qixi Festival—falls on August 14, 2021, which is the seventh day of the seventh month on the Chinese calendar.
And for this year, Lucas from Korean boy band WayV is the face of the campaign. Born Wong Yuk-hei, the 22-year-old rapper hails from Hong Kong with Thai and Chinese descent. He’s an active member of WayV, a subunit group of NCT, and supergroup SuperM under SM Entertainment.
The Gucci Les Pommes capsule includes apparel, sneakers, handbags, wallets, pouches, and other accessories.
