Actors Antonio Banderas and Mario Casas launch new iconic scent
Welcome the fragrance of success with The Icon
Antonio Banderas has become a household name when it comes to perfumes. Now, the Spanish actor-director launches an addition to his growing line of scents with The Icon. For this release, Antonio worked with actor Mario Casas who starred in “Summer Rain,” a film he directed in 2006.
The Icon—which also stands for Intrepid, Creative, Original, and Natural—is born from the actors’ shared vision of success which they believe is the result of consistency and hard work. “Success can come thanks to a stroke of luck. You can go along for the ride and if you don’t want to get off, you make an effort, you work hard and you’re consistent,” shares Mario.

For Antonio, success must come easily saying, “The worst enemy of success is anxiousness to achieve it. It must come as easily as we move through life. If it doesn’t come naturally, I’m not interested.”
The perfume comes in a navy blue and cobalt bottle highlighted with a silver coin, depicting the Icon’s contents as measured, elegant, strong, young, and extremely masculine. For its components as representative of the male icons, the opening notes stimulate a breath of fresh air with grapefruit and black pepper. It then demonstrates an elegant whiff of lavender and sage while ending with the sensuality and intensity of sandalwood and oak moss.
