Prada just released a limited-edition shirt available for only 24 hours
Drop #18 is part of the brand’s Time Capsule range
One of the perks of buying from special collections is that they’re limited in quantities. So limited in fact that the probability of bumping into someone wearing the exact same floral Cuban shirt this summer season is very slim.
This is what Prada’s Time Capsule line is all about. First launched back in 2019 for its European patrons, Prada capsule collection “presents a new item on the first Thursday of every month, an online exclusive for just 24 hours.” It continues: “A special logo created by OMA, the architectural studio founded by Rem Koolhaas, together with a serial number and sophisticated dedicated packaging, makes each drop unique.”
And today, June 3, 2021, Drop #18 features “tropical vibes and dynamic lines juxtaposed in a bold graphic pattern.” For its new custom-designed, serial-numbered item, the Italian fashion house reinterprets its iconic Ibiscus print in vivid hues and chromatic contrasts, accenting its homage to the vintage-inspired bowling shirt.
