Fashion Dispatch: Chic outerwear for rough terrain and sci-fi-worthy shoes at Fay Archive and Giuseppe Zanotti
We continue with our Milan Men’s Fashion Week coverage. Under the hand of its new designer Alessandro Squarzi, the ‘80s-born brand Fay revived its core pieces and launched them under the line Fay Archive. Aimed towards designing year-round pieces, Fay Archive’s new collection boasts versatile jackets that can be easily lined with fleece to combat low temperatures. Equipped with details such as metal hooks and corduroy lining, the new Fay pieces can be staple everyday pieces for the practical guy.
Designer Giuseppe Zanotti took inspiration from exotic animal skins and summer patterns for his new collection. Croc-stamped leather in eye-catching salmon and metallic can be seen on trainers and boots, but the star of the selection are the signature crystal-studded evening loafers with customizable monogram initials. The brand also launched the “Urchin,” a pair of UVA-activated sneakers that can change colors from white to neon, complete with spiky 3D-printed soles.
