DIOR SADDLE BAG MADE ITS RETURN
JULY 19
After almost two decades, Dior’s carry-all saddle bag is now back in the market. But compared to the original version that Dior’s former creative director John Galliano had created back at the turn of the century, current creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri presents the iconic bag in a sleeker form that retains it’s D-like shape with statement add-on straps. Get to see this revamped version in its fringed, embroidered, and metal-plated glory on the Dior website.

THE GUCCI-DAPPER DAN COLLECTION HIT THE INTERNET
JULY 19
Here’s another collaboration with legendary couturier Dapper Dan that was made possible by Gucci’s Alessandro Michele. The Harlem native, who had designed outfits for some of the most famous athletes and rap and hip-hop superstars in the ’80s, had an unpleasant run-in with the fashion label last year when Gucci was accused of copying Dan’s bomber jacket design. It’s all water under the bridge now, with the label backing up the couturier in the reestablishment of his atelier and creating a collaboration line with him. Expect tracksuits and bomber jackets with the signature Gucci palette GG logos stamped on leather, velour, nylon, and knits—perfect for folks who like the eclectic, urban, throwback vibe of Harlem. View the full collaboration on the Gucci website.
