HUBERT DE GIVENCHY PASSES AT 91

Famous for the creation of one of the biggest French fashion houses, Hubert de Givenchy passed away in his sleep on Monday, March 12, as told by his long-time partner Philippe Venet, also a former couture designer.

The Givenchy brand has dressed a lot of A-listers through the decades, including Chadwick Boseman on the recent Oscars red carpet, but the most memorable and enduring relationship that the designer had was with the late Hollywood actress Audrey Hepburn who, together with Givenchy, presented some of the most iconic looks in cinematic history.

ORIGINAL PENGUIN EXPANDS INTO GROOMING AND LIFESTYLE WITH ITS NEW CONCEPT STORE

Original Penguin recently launched a new lifestyle concept store at the new wing of the Powerplant Mall in Rockwell, where the brand presents its latest venture into bedding and luggage, aside from its signature apparel and accessories. Another highlight in the new space is Original Penguin’s in-house barbershop House of Handsome, which would be operated by the Felipe & Sons management and would offer specialized cuts and grooming services.

KAIA AND PRESLEY GERBER APPEAR IN THEIR SECOND CALVIN KLEIN JEANS CAMPAIGN

Photogenic siblings (and supermodel Cindy Crawford’s progeny) Kaia and Presley Gerber followed their January debut as the new faces of Calvin Klein Jeans with a denim-on-denim themed spring 2018 campaign. Their new #MyCalvins ad was shot by Willy Vanderperre, who also took the photographs of the Kardashian siblings, Millie Bobby Brown, Paris Jackson, and Lulu Tenney for previous Calvin Klein ads.

After the online release of the campaign images, Kaia posted a series of videos on Instagram featuring her and her brother “being fools for @calvinklein,” playing thumb- and arm-wrestling, and doing trust falls.

The brand’s spring/summer 2018 collection seems to be a mix of dark and blue denim, cut-off jean shorts, distressed jeans, splatter prints (as seen on Kaia’s outift in the IG video), and Canadian tuxedos.

FENTY X PUMA SPRING/SUMMER 2018 IS FINALLY OUT

The singer/fashion plate’s fourth collaboration with Puma is inspired by the motocross culture: zip-front vests and jackets, biker pants, sweatshirts, mini-shorts, Lycra cycling shorts, racing suits, visors, and mesh are prominently featured in the clip. An additional treat would be two new styles of the highly popular Fenty Cleated Creepers, meant especially for those who missed out on its first release.
