PINOY PRIDE: H&M announces first-ever Filipino-designed collection with DBTK

The capsule offers locally designed urbanwear

It’s a big win for Filipino designers as global retail brand H&M now includes Filipino talents into its creative collaborations. For the first time ever, the Swedish brand is set to release a Filipino-designed collection by streetwear brand Don’t Blame the Kids or DBTK.

DBTK was founded by brothers Emil and Vince Javier back in 2014. Initially offering menswear exclusively, the brand gained a fan base of both men and women proving that streetwear knows no gender. Today, DBTK offers its unique design philosophy on apparel for men and women, and its expansive accessories line.

H&M shares the same philosophy as DBTK, and together, the partnership features designs that resonate to all street styles while celebrating individuality as well. With the theme “The World is My Home,”  the H&M and DBTK collaboration is set to debut six fun and surrealistically designed urban pieces that will launch come September 2022.
