Where golf meets good fortune
Malbon Philippines marks the Year of the Horse with a refined capsule and a culture-led Manila moment
Lunar New Year got a sporty glow-up as Malbon Philippines turned its flagship in Manila into a full-on cultural playground. Think less stiff ceremony, more cool-kid clubhouse with a festive twist.
The Year of the Horse Collection, an Asia-exclusive drop, leads with polish instead of punchy reds. The palette leans deep and textured, with elevated fabrics and subtle details that feel premium but totally wearable. Tracksuits, skirts, jackets, and easy lifestyle staples are built to move—from tee time to dinner plans without missing a beat. It’s classic Lunar New Year energy, just interpreted the Malbon way: refined, sporty, and city-ready.
Launch night felt like stepping into a modern lucky charm. There was a dragon dance weaving through the store, live Chinese calligraphy for personalized prosperity notes, and even a Lazy Susan-inspired photo spot made for group snaps. One lucky guest scored a full Malbon outfit in an Ang Pao reveal (imagine that kind of luck to start the year). Guests sipped custom mocktail teas in collaboration with Chagee and tried their swing at a golf simulator challenge—because what’s a Malbon party without a little friendly competition?
Malbon Philippines is located on the ground level of Shangri-La at the Fort, BGC, Taguig.
