Ferragamo’s new fragrance is bold, smooth, and seriously wearable

Ferragamo’s newest men’s fragrance doesn’t overcomplicate things. Sublime Leather is exactly what it sounds like: smooth, warm leather wrapped in spice and woods, built for everyday confidence with an after-dark edge.

This one sits in the amber fougère woody family, but don’t let the technical terms scare you. What you’ll actually notice first is the warmth. Cinnamon gives it a subtle heat right from the start—inviting, slightly addictive. Then comes davana, which adds an aromatic, almost fruity herbal twist that keeps things interesting. It’s not flat or predictable. There’s movement.

At the center is the leather accord. Deep, polished, and refined—not rugged biker jacket, but tailored black leather gloves. It feels sleek, controlled, and grown. As it settles, Cedarwood steps in to ground everything with a dry, woody backbone that gives the fragrance structure and staying power.

The overall effect? Confident but not loud. Smooth but not soft. It has presence without shouting for attention.

Sublime Leather was created with perfumer Clément Gavarry, who aimed to bottle the rhythm of city life—the constant motion, the late nights, the quiet ambition. And that urban energy shows. This feels like the scent you wear to a dinner that turns into drinks, or a meeting that turns into something bigger.

Even the bottle keeps it sharp. Dressed in glossy black with a silver leather-textured band and the iconic Gancini detail, it looks clean and modern on a shelf. Minimal, but with personality.
