LOJEL comes to Manila with its first concept store
A thoughtfully built space for travelers who value design, durability, and meaning
Fun fact: LOJEL comes from “Let Our Journeys Enrich Life”—a philosophy the global travel brand has carried since 1989. And now, that same spirit officially has a home in Manila with the opening of LOJEL’s first Concept Store in the Philippines at SM Mall of Asia.
The new space is calm, intentional, and very much aligned with LOJEL’s belief that travel should be meaningful, not rushed.
“For longtime LOJEL travelers around the world, this feels like coming home. And for those discovering the brand for the first time here in the Philippines, welcome to a new way of moving—intentional, enduring, and crafted for life on the go,” shared An Chieh Chiang, CEO of LOJEL. “Since LOJEL began in Japan in 1989, our mission has remained the same: create travel companions that are purposeful, resilient, and beautifully designed. This new store allows us to share that philosophy more closely with Filipino travelers.”

Designed with minimalist Japanese cues and a soothing, neutral palette, the Concept Store highlights LOJEL’s signature Cubo and Voja lines, all arranged in clean, spacious displays. There’s also The Lab, a dedicated area for maintenance and repair—perfect for travelers who want their luggage to last. For its Philippine debut, LOJEL rolled out two new colorways: Cubo in Indigo, a deep modern tone, and Voja in Ivory, an understated and elegant neutral.

The opening brought together a mix of well-known personalities including Glaiza de Castro, Katarina Rodriguez,Jason Dy, Adrian Alandy, Marlo Mortel, and Priscilla Meirelles—each exploring the space and getting a feel for LOJEL’s design perspective.

Representing the vision for LOJEL’s local debut, Dinah Yau Lim, Chief Operating Officer of Primer PH Retail, shared: “We are proud to bring LOJEL to Filipino travelers, building a community that values the same principles the brand stands for—intentionality, longevity, and a more meaningful way of moving through the world.”

LOJEL is now open at Level 2, South Main Mall, SM Mall of Asia.
