LOOK: New Balance and Foot Locker unveil exclusive 740 colorways

Plus, meet the new ambassadors joining the roster
What makes a fresh sneaker drop even better? Exclusive colorways that turn a classic into a collector’s must-have. This July, New Balance and Foot Locker are doing just that as they bring back the beloved 740 silhouette. This time in two limited-edition colorways designed to take you from 7:40 a.m. to 7:40 p.m. in style.

The drop features two striking variations: a cool mix of layered blues with silver and black accents, and a bold pairing of pink, burgundy, silver, and black. Once a running staple, the 740 now transitions effortlessly from sport to street, redefining versatility.
Alongside the launch, the brands also introduced two new faces to the partnership: English footballer Eberechi Eze and WNBA rising star Cameron Brink.

Eberechi, one of the English Premier League’s most electrifying talents, is known for his agility, creativity, and flair, qualities that reflect the spirit of the 740. “I love the functionality of the 740,” says the athlete. “No matter what I’m wearing, the shoe elevates any look.”

Meanwhile, Cameron marks a milestone as the first female basketball player to sign with New Balance. Her rise from college standout to pro mirrors the performance-driven DNA of the 740. “I’m excited to bring the 740 to life in this most recent Foot Locker campaign,” she shares. “I love how sporty and stylish they are. They’re the perfect sneaker to dress up or dress down.”
