Dolce and Gabbana SS26 proves sleepwear is the new daywear

Snooze, but make it fashion
As the title of the collection cheekily hints, “Pyjama Boys” aren’t just lounging in any old sleepwear—they’re wrapped in Dolce and Gabbana from a.m. coffee runs to p.m. after-after parties.
If there’s one thing Dolce and Gabbana consistently nails, it’s casting the dreamiest models to grace their runway paired, of course, with clothes that still turn heads, scandals aside.
The show opened with delightfully crumpled pajama sets that looked like they were plucked straight from the dryer and worn all night long. Dare we say… wrinkled chic is officially in. Henley tops made a strong, sultry comeback: unbuttoned just enough to flash clavicles and a tease of chest (because what’s a Dolce show without a little heat?). Tank tops with logo tabs made their rounds too, often styled with stripe-on-stripe ensembles from tops and bottoms to even bags.
These sets stand confidently on their own, but the real show-stealer? Peeking boxers. Tops were strategically tucked into pants or shorts to flaunt them and the result was effortlessly sexy. Dolce and Gabbana also stayed true to their DNA: think animal print cover-ups (hello leopard and tiger) and rich leather pieces slipped in to spice things up.
As for accessories, overnight carryalls were a nod to fashionable slumber parties everywhere. Fuzzy slip-ons worn barefoot or paired with high socks added to the laid-back luxe, while sunglasses completed each look, perfect for hiding sleepy eyes or just pretending you need coffee.
Who knew looking this good in your “sleepwear” could be a whole vibe? Turns out, all you need is Dolce and not caffeine to feel like you’ve got it together. And honestly, if sleepovers looked this chic, why would anyone bother sleeping?
