Bask in the summer with Karl Lagerfeld’s new ‘Ikonik’ scents

Explore the intense amber of pour homme and the luminous florals of pour femme
As the Philippine summer heats up even more, Karl Lagerfeld unveils his latest fragrance duo: Karl Ikonik pour homme and Karl Ikonik pour femme, each reflecting a distinct creative vision.
Karl Ikonik pour homme, crafted by Emilie Coppermann and Pierre Guéros, explores a powerful amber fougère structure built around a signature tonka bean note. This is artfully combined with the unexpected depth of coconut wood and brightened by fresh top notes. The aim was to evoke confidence and crispness.

“We created this eau de parfum because we wanted to explore tonka bean from top to bottom and create an innovative, signature masculine note,” shared Emilie and Pierre. “We’ve done this through crisp combinations that convey a certain confidence and great intensity.”
Marie Salamagne, the nose behind Karl Ikonik pour femme, sought to reimagine jasmine, blending the freshness of raspberry and rose with the opulent touch of geranium and a creamy sandalwood base. The fragrance further unfolds with jasmine sambac and tuberose, warmed by sandalwood and Haitian vetiver for a sensual finish.

“I wanted to create a fragrance that reinterpreted jasmine, tinged with the rose-gold nuances of geranium, with opulent, modern reflections,” shared Marie. “At the base, the roundness of creamy sandalwood blends perfectly with soft jasmine petals.”
The presentation of each fragrance in bottles is inspired by Karl’s iconic silhouette, with distinct metallic accents, underscoring the designer’s signature style.
