Timeless tones: A collection of classics that transcends time
Uniqlo expands offerings with modern, sustainable pieces for fall 2024
On August 8, 2024, Uniqlo previewed its Fall 2024 collection at Avellana Art Gallery in Pasay City. The Japanese brand introduced the theme “Timeless Tones,” blending classic styles with modern designs to create a lasting wardrobe for years to come.
According to the brand, “Timeless Tones” draws inspiration from cities known for their distinctive character: Edinburgh, Scotland, with its mix-and-match style of patterns and materials, and Stockholm, Sweden, known for its modern, tonal approach to dressing.
“We are excited to showcase our newest seasonal collection,” shared Uniqlo Philippines Chief Operating Officer, Geraldine Sia. “With the theme ‘Timeless Tones,’ we aim to bring a fresh approach to our LifeWear by reimagining timeless classics. Staying true to our LifeWear philosophy of designing clothing that enhances life, these new pieces reflect our commitment to evolving classic items in terms of fit, comfort, and functionality.”
Uniqlo categorized the launch into three specific collections to highlight its offerings:
- Neo-Tradition: Featuring classic silhouettes with modern technology, including the Wide Pants collection styled with lightweight 3D knits.
- Neo-Nordic: Showcasing pieces for both indoor and outdoor use, incorporating Pufftech, their newest technology that offers warmth and lightness.
- Sport Utility Wear: Emphasizing functionality and versatility, spotlighting the Women’s Ultra Stretch Airism for extra support during exercise.
Additionally, Uniqlo introduced a new collection featuring Kaws and Andy Warhol, two iconic artists of this generation. The UT capsule includes apparel, accessories, and a limited edition art book for both adults and kids, featuring the artists’ iconic imagery.
The art book for the Kaws + Warhol exhibition, along with the apparel collection, will be available exclusively at Uniqlo stores nationwide and on the Uniqlo online store starting August 23, 2024.
