PRIDE 2024: Transforming lives through LGBTQIA+ support
Championing equality, here are brands spotlighting the LGBTQIA+ community this Pride month
Believing that everyone deserves a chance at a better life regardless of gender, sexuality, nationality, age, or background, these brands are highlighting the LGBTQIA+ community during Pride Month. With product launches that give back to one of the most vibrant communities, here are the brands and their causes that we can support.
Ikea Storstomma Bag The Swedish brand will be donating 100 percent of the sales from its reusable bags to Love Yourself. This donation will aid in refurbishing and enhancing home furnishings for the Love Yourself Uni Hub in Pasay City. Love Yourself is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to increasing HIV awareness, education, testing, and treatment within the LGBTQIA+ community.
Avon’s Pride Collection In celebration of Pride, Avon has launched a limited-edition collection featuring the Supershock Volume Loader Mascara and the Glimmerstick Eyeliner. The brand also actively supports Pride events like “No Boys Allowed,” which empowers all women, and drag bars such as O Bar and Rampa, encouraging drag queens to embrace their identities with Avon’s intimate apparel.
To further support the community, Avon donates products to LGBTQIA+ organizations such as Home for the Golden Gays, Bahaghari, PANTAY, and Love Yourself. These donations include body care, apparel, makeup, fragrance, and skincare items, allowing members to feel appreciated and supported.
SM Beauty’s So Much Pride Campaign Beauty products are a significant form of expression for many, especially within the LGBTQIA+ community. To ensure everyone can complete their beauty kits, SM Beauty is hosting a pop-up event at SM MOA until June 30, 2024.
