After-party special at Maison Mihara Yasuhiro spring-summer 2025
Pieces materialized tousled, tangled, and worn backwards
Mihara Yasuhiro presented a dreamy, deconstructed collection for spring-summer 2025. Inspired by the blurred recollection of a wild party, pieces and silhouettes appeared tousled, tangled, and even worn backwards.
True to the Japanese brand’s unconventional approach, the collection showcased edgy designs that embodied the chic chaos of a fashionable hangover. Denim featured prominently, with jackets exposing bare backs and denim pieces styled in reverse. Playful layering added to the intrigue, as denim pants were layered over other bottoms, while models became entangled in metallic party frills.
The theme of deconstruction extended to sporty apparel, with hoodies and joggers revealing elbows, backs, and calves. Plaid shirts made unconventional appearances, plastered on the backs of tops or paired with cropped and distressed jackets.
