Scents have the power to evoke memories, and Replica by Maison Margiela harnesses this by recreating memories through their fragrances.

This May 2024, Maison Margiela officially opens its first boutique in the Philippines, located on the ground level of Greenbelt 5, Ayala Center in Makati City. The boutique houses its cult-favorite fragrances, including Beach Walk, By the Fireplace, Sailing Day, and Lazy Sunday Morning, to name a few.

The first edition of the fragrance line was launched back in 2010 with “Untitled,” a woody floral musk created by Daniela Andrier. Fast forward to 2023, “From The Garden” was released, created by Oliver Cresp, featuring notes of tomato leaf, geranium, and patchouli.

Replica is known for its photorealistic takes on fragrances, with descriptions that match the visuals the scents evoke. Here are some of our favorites from the brand:

During the opening, the brand also launched its newest fragrance, From The Garden, which will be replacing Matcha Meditation on the roster. This new eau de toilette features notes of tomato leaf, green mandarin essence, geranium, and patchouli, making it a green, fresh scent.
