WATCH: Kit Connor and Joe Locke shine at Vogue World 2023 London
The ‘Heartstopper’ actors were clearly among the best dressed of the night
On-screen boyfriends Kit Connor and Joe Locke of the popular Netflix series “Heartstopper” once again delighted their fans when they appeared together at the recent Vogue World 2023 event in London.
Last year, the Vogue team launched Vogue World in New York. For its sophomore event, they turned the spotlight on the best British talents in the worlds of fashion and art, bringing the spectacle to London.
Held on Sept. 14, 2023, at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Vogue World: London featured performances by the Royal Ballet and Rambert, along with cameos from stars such as FKA Twigs and Stormzy. The event also marked the kickoff of London Fashion Week, showcasing the highlights of the fall 2023 collections with fashion personalities including Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Cara Delevingne, Adwoa Aboah, and Ashley Graham.
In addition to music and fashion celebrities, actors James McAvoy, Cole Sprouse, Emilia Clarke, Sienna Miller, and fellow “Heartstopper” star William Gao also graced the theatrical celebration.
However, stealing the spotlight were Kit Connor and Joe Locke. Kit dazzled in a sparkling Loewe ensemble from the Spanish brand’s spring 2024 collection. He opted for the fourth look from the collection—a sparkling blue long-sleeved polo paired with equally glittering denim pants. On the other hand, Joe Locke sported a hot-pink Valentino three-piece outfit, which the 19-year-old paired with burgundy socks and matching footwear.
In June 2023, Kit was spotted in the front row of Loewe’s Spring 2024 men’s runway collection, likely sparking his connection to the look.
During a red carpet interview with British Vogue, Kit and Joe expressed their excitement for supporting the arts in London. When asked about their attire, they revealed they were wearing Loewe and Valentino, respectively.
All net ticket proceeds from Vogue World: London will benefit various organizations in the capital, including the National Theatre, Royal Opera House, Royal Ballet, Southbank Sinfonia, and the Rambert dance company.
