The actor truly embodies the new fragrance
From Carrie Bradshaw’s teenage love to a full-grown man portraying Elvis Presley, Austin Butler has embodied numerous characters. However, in his latest role as a beauty ambassador for YSL, he remains authentically himself.
“It’s about being yourself. Being authentic to who you really are,” shared the 31-year-old actor in the YSL’s new men’s fragrance promotional video, titled “MYSLF.”
Austin also shared a campaign video on his Instagram, captioned, “I am honored to be named the global ambassador of MYSLF, the new signature fragrance by YSL Beauty.”
Encased in a sleek, refillable black lacquered bottle adorned with the iconic YSL Cassandre logotype, “MYSLF” is an aromatic fragrance crafted by Christophe Raynaud. Its notes encompass Calabrian bergamot, Tunisian orange blossom, Ambrofix, and Patchouli.
“MYSLF is the expression of the man you are, with all of your emotions and nuances,” described YSL. “A distinctly unique fragrance for those redefining what it means to be a man. A floral twist on a traditional woody fragrance. My scent, MYSLF.”
