This new footwear collab is for the sweet tooth

Vans and gummy candy brand Haribo unite for a sweet offering

Are you looking to treat yourself to something sweet this summer? Check out the new shoe drop from the active brand and the world’s number one gummy candy, the Vans x Haribo capsule.

Facilitated by the brand’s global licensing partner IMG, the collaboration includes treats for the entire family with Goldbear-inspired footwear, apparel, accessories, and custom prints.

Founded by Hans Riegel in the 1920s and famed for the original Goldbear, Haribo has been bringing childlike happiness to fans for over a century as the world’s most popular gummy candy and licorice producer, making the company the central leader in the confectionery industry.

This capsule celebrates creativity and joyful ways to express oneself, featuring designs influenced by the happy and sweet world of Haribo across iconic Vans styles.

Designed with a 3D gummy execution, the Vans x Haribo Classic Slip-On features an embossed applique with injected foam for a cushy look. The style is finished with four Goldbears screen-printed on the heel of the shoe, with the Haribo logo on the midsole. For the Old Skool V in Haribo Yellow Checkerboard, the patent synthetic upper features a checkerboard gummy bear pattern on the quarters and straps with tasteful messaging on the heel. On the medial and lateral sides of the shoe, the sidestripe alternates colors to represent the celebrated hues of Haribo’s Goldbears.
