Dior releases first images of BTS’s Jimin as global ambassador
The Korean idol shares he’s ‘so thrilled to start a journey with Dior’
K-pop stars continue to dominate the world of fashion as French luxury fashion house Dior announced that Park Ji-min, a.k.a. Jimin, member of boyband BTS, is now part of their ambassador roster.
On an Instagram post, Dior said, “The House is thrilled to announce @J.M from #BTS as new Dior global ambassador. Pictured here in a colorful look from #DiorSummer23, the singer is now lending his image to creations from Artistic Director of Dior men’s collections, @MrKimJones.”
On the three-part post, Jimin wore a bluegreen multi-pocketed mesh utility jacket paired with pleated trousers and military boots. On another layout, he donned a zippered high-neck sweater in green, navy pants, and another military high-cut boots.
For his last layout published by Dior, the singer played with a miniature car while wearing a cream trench coat, rings with Christian Dior Insignia, and a marine-colored seashell necklace.
Jimin now joins Dior’s star-studded ambassador roster which includes Jisoo of Blackpink, Anya Taylor-Joy, Robert Pattinson, Cha Eun-woo, and Natalie Portman.
