Unisex, clean, and a first of its kind—these what makes up the new Uniqlo x Helmut Lang collaboration.
Eight years ago, Helmut Lang first linked with Uniqlo for a capsule that focused on outerwear. This year, Uniqlo and the Austrian-born label are back for a special collaboration that puts denim jeans on the spotlight.
“Classic jeans with a minimal and refined look. A collaboration with a new take on jeans,” describes the brand. These pairs are said to be the brand’s first-ever jeans that are made from recycled and organic cotton including the jeans’ threads. Apart from sustainability, minimalism was also put in mind in creating these pieces. The stitching is made to be of the same color of the jeans while the buttons and rivets are made to complement the simple and clean aesthetic of the capsule.
The classic cut jeans which come in white, black, and navy blue will be sold for P4,990 each. See the three iterations below:
