The MM6 Maison Margiela resort 2023 capsule is ready to party

Asymmetrical-cut tops and metallic coordinates are the ravers of the night

Unconventional, eclectic, and sometimes odd, these describe the Margiela label and for their resort 2023 collection, they’re not parting ways with that branding.

Shot in front of a night club, the models lined up like party goers who are dressed like rockstars and bikers ready to dance the night away. Key pieces in the collection included loose-fitting trousers, asymmetrical-cut tops, metallic coordinates, tailored jackets, biker shorts, and vests.

For footwear, flat-toed shoes in various colors appeared. There were also sightings of metallic slip-ons, as well as thick-soled sneakers.

Although the collection was resort, the fashion house downplayed the colors by sticking with creams, blacks, grays, and deep green.
