Joshua Vides injects artistry in new Converse collab
The capsule includes three sneaker silhouettes
Following his creative venture with Uniqlo for a black and white illustration-filled capsule, graphic artist Joshua Vides continues his exploration with the fashion world as he joins Converse for a new capsule of sneaker collaboration.
“@joshuavides combines his signature artistic touches with the visual language of craftsmen and creators. Like his past Chuck 70 designs, Vides adds hook and loop fastener ankle patches—this time on both the Tyvek layer and canvas underneath,” describes Converse for the artist’s take on the Chuck 70.
The other two Converse silhouettes given a new look are the Pro Leather and the Weapon CX. The Pro Leather features imperfect marker strokes for a comic-like feel while the latter includes measuring tape laces and transparent detailing which is a distinct aesthetic of Joshua.
