Say ‘annyeong’ to Vans Korean Typography collection
The Vans Old Skool and the Vans Classic Slip-On are getting Korean touches with the launch of Korean Typography Collection.
“The Korean Typography collection pays homage to our heritage while ensuring that the shoes remain as iconic as ever,” shares the brand.
This iteration of the classic skate shoes features tiger stripes and a hibiscus floral print (Korea’s national animal and national flower) on the shoes uppers. The colors of the Korean flag can also be seen on both pairs, on the side paneling of the Old Skool and the heel overlay of the Slip-On. “Vans” and “Off The Wall” brandings are also phonetically spelled out on both shoes, on the heel of the Old Skool and on the upper of the slip on.
