Ever wonder what happens in a day of movie stars when they are not on set? Well, luxury coffee and espresso machine brand De’Longhi gives us a glimpse of it with its first international ad featuring Hollywood actor Brad Pitt as its new ambassador.
Dubbed as “Perfetto,” the campaign presents the 57-year-old actor on a motorcycle ride along Pacific Coast Highway in California, getting coffee beans, and using them to brew a cappuccino on his automatic espresso machine, the Dinamica Plus, to start his day. A perfect morning, indeed. The vertically-filmed commercial is helmed by “Lalaland” director Damien Chazelle. Working with him is cinematographer Linus Sandgren and composer Justin Hurwitz. Collectively, including Brad, this campaign is backed by Oscar-winning talents. Acclaimed photographer Lachlan Bailey is enlisted to capture images of the actor with the luxury coffee machine.“De’Longhi has seen extraordinary growth in recent years and the production of home coffee machines has assumed a central role in this growth” says Massimo Garavaglia, the company’s CEO. “We believe that Brad Pitt is the perfect ambassador to tell the world about De’Longhi–he is as the quintessential embodiment of the De’Longhi spirit: bold and international but at the same time, sophisticated and elegant.”Watch the campaign here:
