American cult fashion brand Proenza Schouler and German footwear label Birkenstock are back together once again after their successful initial collection last year. This time, the capsule pins a utilitarian twist to the iconic modern footwear, exploring a story of workwear and artful simplicity for its new unisex offering.
“Proenza Schouler lends their urban, New York perspective to our unrivaled function. In this Birkenstock collaboration, hook-and-loop fastened straps replace our signature buckle for on-the-move practicality and everyday style,” Birkenstock describes the collab.
With Proenza Schouler’s signature élan, the classic Birkenstock sandals are reimagined for a new luxury vision of the German brand. Welcome the season’s new favorites, with topstitching on specchio leather, as the collection dashes in “vivid tones of cobalt blue, rustic burgundy, and elevated neutrals in black and ecru.”
