Kiefer Ravena is first Filipino athlete to sign with Jordan Brand
The Jordan Brand welcomes a new member of the family with Kiefer Ravena joining its All Star roster of athletes.
Announced Tuesday, May 4, 2021, NLEX Road Warriors star Kiefer Ravena officially became a part of the Jumpman roster. The Filipino athlete now joins New Orleans Pelicans Zion Williamson, Dallas Mavericks Luka Doncic, and Bolton Celtic’s Jayson Tatum in the roster of well-loved young basketball stars.
On the announcement, the Garage Magazine Street Dapper King alumnus wore a black long-sleeved t-shirt while holding a basketball which both had the Jordan Brand logo. The brand’s Instagram account, @jumpman23, welcomed Kiefer with a quote saying, “’Being in the same family as MJ and so many other names synonymous with greatness—I want to be a part of that. Being in the Jordan Brand family motivates me because I know I’m joining something special.’ Welcome to the family, @kieferravena15, the first Filipino athlete to join the Jumpman roster.”
On his own Instagram account, Kiefer said graces as well. “I still can’t believe that I’m part of the Jordan Brand Family. I’m very fortunate to have a great support system,” he said. “My parents, my friends, my teammates and the fans. In basketball, that’s all you need. Thank you @jumpman23, I’m thankful for the opportunity to be the first Filipino joining the Jumpman Family.”
