Café Amazon opens in Manila

Hailing from Thailand, Café Amazon brings its oasis-inspired coffee experience to Filipino consumers with the recently held brand launch at SM North EDSA Annex with special celebrity guest Ylona Garcia. This new enterprise is the first standalone Café Amazon inside a mall, but the fourth among its Philippine branches, after PTT SCTEX, PTT Dasmarinas, and PTT Pulilan.

Established in 2002, Café Amazon was conceptualized by the PTT Group to complete the customer service experience in all PTT gas stations. “Part of PTT’s diversification is to invest on non-oil business like Café Amazon,” shares PTT Philippines President and Chief Executive Officer Sukanya Seriyothin.

With prices starting at Php70 for the hot drinks and Php95 for the 22 oz. iced and frappe drinks, Café Amazon surely will be a hit with the Filipino market. Must-orders include the Hot Espresso that’s topped with rich cocoa powder and Hot Mocha; iced drinks like the Iced Amazon with aromatic coffee extract blended with milk for a flavorful drink; White Chocolate Macchiato that combines white chocolate syrup and cocoa powder, Iced Tea with milk made with authentic Thai tea leaves, and Green Tea with Milk Frappe.
