Royal treatment

For her fall 2017 collection, Astrid Andersen drove streetwear away from its practical materials and customary templates by introducing luxurious fabrics and extravagant silhouettes. Her coats and tracksuits were made of velour reminiscent of the early 2000’s, while the robes and coordinates spawned out of silk. And it didn’t stop there, half of the collection progressed to garments in jewel tones, thick gold linings, and fur detailings. Pulled together by regal colors of gold and burgundy, Astrid Andersen’s latest collection is the answer to any royal family’s sportswear-slash-streetwear requirement.
