Fridays just got better with this burger-and-cocktail dining set
Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill invites everyone to toast to the weekend with ‘Dirty Fridays’
Since its launch in 2024, Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill at Newport World Resorts has been at the top of many Filipinos’ list of must-dine destinations. Its signature dishes alone—such as Beef Wellington, Sticky Toffee Pudding, and premium steaks—are reason enough to stop by. Still, the addition of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s name only heightens the excitement.

This time, the British chef’s first restaurant in the Philippines elevates its game with gourmet takes on the humble burger, complemented by specialty cocktails. Last February, Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill launched “Dirty Fridays,” a weekly dining concept where guests can unwind, dance, and savor big flavors from what may be the restaurant’s most casual creations yet.
“Dirty Fridays” puts the spotlight on Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill’s new signature burgers. The Lamb Burger features layers of tzatziki, baby gem lettuce, and red onion pickle. A mix of wasabi and sesame coleslaw, along with house pickles, defines the Spicy Fried Chicken Burger. A must-try among the three is the Beef Burger, stacked with bacon, onions, chutney, black garlic aioli, cheddar, and pickles.

Diners can choose from a selection of loaded dirty fries to mix and match with any burger creation. Much like the music that sets the mood during “Dirty Fridays,” these fries deliver a mambo of flavors, taking flavor enjoyment to another level. Options include the Fiesta Ham and Goat Cheese Dirty Fries, topped with cured ham, bell peppers, and a bold spice rub. The Spanish Chorizo and Egg Dirty Fries bring together Mediterranean and Asian notes with caramelized onion, Jamón Ibérico, and cured egg yolk. The Chilli Corn Carne Dirty Fries, meanwhile, come loaded with bacon bits and tomato salsa, finished with a rich Mornay sauce and crème fraîche.
No weekend party is complete without crafted drinks. “Dirty Fridays” rounds out the experience with a lineup of martinis, including the classic Dirty Martini, the bold Sour Cherry Martini, and the tropical Pineapple Mango Martini. Priced at P500 each, the cocktails are the perfect partner to the savory plates, their zing and tanginess cutting through the richness. Those thirsty for more can opt for a Martini Flight, featuring all three martinis at an add-on price of P988.

All in all, “Dirty Fridays” offers a welcome escape with its mix-and-match burger and fries combo (P1,288), Latin-inspired mambo rhythms, and expertly crafted martinis. While everything is designed to delight the senses and keep the energy lively, one thing is clear: this burger-and-cocktail ritual is the perfect way to wrap up a busy workweek and ease into the weekend.
“Dirty Fridays” runs every Friday from 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. For reservations and more information, kindly Viber or WhatsApp +63 917 147 6576 or send an email to reservations@gordonramsayrestaurants.com.ph.
