Where Manila’s art crowd will be in February: ALT Art 2026

The ALT Collective unveils its largest edition yet, bringing contemporary Filipino art to a grander, more accessible stage

If your idea of a perfect weekend includes great art, thoughtful conversations, and discovering what’s next before everyone else does, ALT ART 2026 should already be on your calendar.

Returning from February 12 to 15, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, the fourth edition of ALT ART marks its biggest and most ambitious showcase yet. Organized by the ALT Collective, the fair expands to twice the floor area of its 2024 edition, with soaring five-meter walls that give contemporary Filipino art the space and presence it deserves. Public days run from February 13 to 15, open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

This year brings together nine of the country’s leading galleries—Artinformal, Blanc, The Drawing Room, Galleria Duemila, Finale Art File, MO_Space, Underground, Vinyl on Vinyl, and West Gallery—each contributing distinct perspectives that reflect the diversity and dynamism of today’s art scene. From museum-caliber works to experimental projects, the fair balances credibility with curiosity.

Fan-favorite Special Projects return, featuring exhibitions by artists such as Christina Quisumbing Ramilo, Buen Calubayan, Julie Lluch with Kiri Dalena and Ben Brixx, Raffy Napay, MM Yu, Mauro “Malang” Santos, and more—offering collectors and casual viewers alike something to linger over.

New this year is the Discoveries Section, a curated platform spotlighting artists poised for greater recognition. The inaugural lineup includes JC Mariategue, Jomari T’leon, Allyza Tresvalles, Gelo Cinco, Rhaz Oriente, and others whose practices feel timely, thoughtful, and quietly bold.
