Hoka and Haven rework the Stinson EVO for life on and off the trail

The first Gore-Tex version of the silhouette blends function and everyday style

If you’re someone who likes to run outdoors or just needs a pair that can handle unpredictable weather, this one’s worth checking out. The new Haven x Hoka Stinson EVO GTX hits that sweet spot between performance and everyday wear. It’s got the signature Hoka cushioning, a higher profile, and a snug, supportive feel that works just as well for trail runs as it does for weekend errands. Some shoes look too technical for daily use, but this one strikes a nice balance—you can take it from city streets to muddy paths without overthinking it.

Hoka teamed up with Haven, the Canadian label known for its clean, utilitarian aesthetic, to rework the Stinson EVO. It’s also the first time the silhouette features Gore-Tex, giving it the durability and breathability to handle just about anything.

“We wanted to create something that lives naturally between the outdoors and the city,” says Arthur Chmielewski, Haven co-founder and creative director. “It performs in the toughest conditions while remaining elevated and versatile in any setting.”

Design-wise, it’s sleek but tough. Think tonal colors, nubuck and suede paired with durable ripstop, bonded overlays, and a waterproof yet breathable Gore-Tex membrane. Inside, Hoka’s Zero Gravity midsole provides that signature light bounce and cushioning—ideal for long walks, commutes, or light runs.

“Collaborating with Haven has been a true masterclass in fusing contemporary craftsmanship and technical innovation,” says Thomas Cykana, Hoka’s senior director of global collaborations.
