Leave it to Tom Ford to make oud feel new again. The designer’s latest Private Blend scent, Oud Voyager, takes the centuries-old smoky and resinous ingredient and transforms it with a luminous twist. This isn’t the dark, heavy oud you might expect, but a reimagined one seen through florals and light, mysterious yet vibrant.

At the heart of the fragrance is the house’s exclusive floral oud tri-distillate, a bespoke creation that fuses oud, geranium absolute, and living red peony accord into one seamless composition. Geranium absolute brings a rosy, fruity vitality while the living red peony accord adds velvety sensuality. Captured using an advanced headspace technology, the peony’s scent is preserved at its most vivid and alive, bottled without ever disturbing the flower itself. The result is a floral note that feels as fresh as it does luxurious.

As the fragrance unfolds, cardamom and saffron oils bring warmth, while pink pepper and citrus notes lend brightness and energy. Then, as the scent settles, earthy nuances of patchouli, vetiver, cypriol, and musk that gives depth and sensuality that lingers beautifully on skin.
