#GarageTries: The next wave of skin boosters

We tried ExoSkin, the next-generation skin booster that’s rewriting how we heal, renew, and glow

When it comes to instant skin rejuvenation, one in-clinic treatment we trust is the skin booster particularly, exosomes. But the version we recently tried isn’t the same as the one we tested before. This one feels more advanced, and possibly, even more promising.

Exosomes, in simple terms, are tiny messengers within the skin. They signal cells to produce collagen, repair damage, and regenerate. Over time, however, our natural supply dwindles, slowing recovery and leaving us with dullness, wrinkles, and uneven tone. Traditional exosome boosters are sourced from human, animal, or plant materials which can help, but their results vary since their stability depends on their origin.

Remedy Skin Solutions introduced us to a more refined approach: ExoSkin, a treatment using exosomes that are 100 percent bioengineered in Europe. Crafted in Barcelona under strict European guidelines, these boosters are powered by NARBEX™ (Non-Animal Regenerative Bioengineering Exosome) technology. Because they’re entirely lab-made, they carry no risk of immune reactions or cross-contamination. The result? Clean, consistent, and potent boosters designed to outperform their natural counterparts by delivering stronger, more precise signals to repair and renew the skin.

Like all Remedy treatments, we began with a dermatologist consultation. ExoSkin can be done two ways: the Nappage Method, which uses ultra-fine microinjections, or Radiofrequency Microneedling (RFM) for deeper delivery. We opted for the Nappage Method. After cleansing and applying a numbing cream (which worked wonders), the procedure began. The exosomes felt cool and slightly wet on the skin, while the pinpricks were so gentle we barely noticed them. The experience was surprisingly calming—dare we say, more relaxing than a typical extraction facial. From start to finish, it took around 45 minutes to an hour.

Post-treatment, we only experienced mild redness that faded within the day. Just note: you’ll need to let the exosomes sit overnight, so skip any big plans immediately after. While dryness is expected for three to five days, we barely noticed flaking. By day three, though, our complexion looked visibly brighter so much so that friends couldn’t help but ask, “Watts up with your glow?”
