Every day feels like Friday in these timepieces

Our favorite timepieces from the SevenFriday collection
There’s no denying the appeal of minimalist watch design—clean lines, understated elegance, and an effortless fit for everyday wear. But while minimalism is timeless, it can also blend in a little too easily, often making it hard for one piece to stand out from the next.
That’s where SevenFriday comes in. Hailing from Zurich, this brand offers a fresh take with its industrial-inspired designs—timepieces that don’t just tell the time but make a statement while doing it.
At a recent dinner hosted by SevenFriday, Garage was invited to experience the brand up close. Founder Dan Niederer welcomed members of the media, tastemakers, and watch enthusiasts to an evening of connection, conversation, and—of course—exceptional watches.
Carrying the tagline “Show me, don’t tell me,” SevenFriday champions a lifestyle that leans into the good life, with an approach that encourages living like it’s always Friday.

“We wanted to create a brand that conveys sincerity, positivity, inclusivity, and respect—with an environment where we feel free to enjoy what we do and surround ourselves with people we like,” Dan shared.
Held at Manila House in BGC, Taguig, the event was a closer look at the brand’s collection—one that manages to balance maximalist personality with sleek, wearable design. Here are our top picks from the lineup:

P1B/01M
Designed with five alternating layers in galvanic rhodium and black, this model features eight applied indexes and a casual-sporty aesthetic. It’s the kind of piece that moves with you—equally at home on the street or during weekend escapes.

ME1/01M
With a retro-futuristic look, the ME1/01M feels aerodynamic even at rest. Its brushed metal finish gives off a sleek, almost industrial vibe. This is one of Dan’s personal favorites—and it’s easy to see why. Perfect for the office or a casual afternoon drive.

C1/01 “PDP”
In collaboration with Indian fashion label Papa Don’t Preach by Shubika, this piece is the brand’s smallest and thinnest yet. While designed with women in mind, its vibrant dial featuring a stylized leopard offers universal appeal. The stainless steel bracelet and elegant case strike a harmonious balance between bold and refined.

Rocketbyz 3.0 FDBx
The latest chapter in the Rocketbyz collaboration delivers a vivid, ever-changing design. Whether under sunlight, darkness, or blacklight, this watch transforms with its surroundings—pushing the boundaries of materials, finishes, and color. A true example of wearable art.
In the Philippines, SevenFriday watches are available at Segnatempo (Okada Manila, Newport Mall), Meridian (Glorietta 4, Greenhills Mall), and Watch Republic (SM Malls).
