Originally released in 1999, the Puma Mostro broke away from traditional sneaker designs, fusing the sprinting spikes of the ‘60s with the laid-back surf shoes of the ‘80s. The result? A bold, futuristic silhouette that became an instant icon. The Mostro line got a refined update in 2004, keeping the original vision intact while adding sleek, avant-garde details.
Now, thanks to Puma’s collab with high-fashion brand Ottolinger and co-signs from trendsetters like A$AP Rocky, the Mostro is back in the spotlight.

In a recent post, Enchong shared how much he loves the shoe’s cool, versatile design—perfect for both gym sessions and casual errands. He styled his pair with a white polo, khaki knee-length shorts, a blue cap, and sleek eyewear. But the real scene-stealer? The adorable pup chilling inside his carry bag!
The latest iteration, the Ur Mostro Communication in Warm White/Light Straw, stays true to the OG while boosting comfort. Its streamlined slip-on design, secured by a bold orange Velcro closure, makes for an effortless yet snug fit. A flexible rubber outsole with signature spikes ensures top-tier traction, while integrated venting keeps things breathable, making it the ideal sneaker for urban explorers.
The Puma Mostro is now available for P7,300 on Puma’s website and in select stores, including Bonifacio High Street in BGC, Taguig, and Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City.
