LOOK: Uniqlo C introduces first men’s collection for fall 2024

Clare Waight Keller draws inspiration from a brutalist landmark in London

British designer Clare Waight Keller, the newly appointed creative director for Uniqlo, debuts her first men’s collection after the successful launch of Uniqlo C last year, which centered on everyday styles for women.

This season, Uniqlo C reflects Clare’s interpretation of the iconic Barbican complex, a brutalist landmark in London. The collection channels the dynamic rhythm of urban life in the fall, expressed through sleek lines and intricate details in everyday apparel.

For men, key pieces include lambswool-blend knitted jackets, relaxed-fit parachute pants, matching sweats, and utility parkas, all offering a casual, urban aesthetic. For women, the collection highlights cropped sleeveless jackets, long, checked dresses, pleated skirts, and merino wool knits in soft shades of dark blue, gray, and forest green.

Accessories featured in the collection include nylon totes, low-top sneakers, clogs, and neck warmers.

“I’m excited to launch menswear alongside womenswear for this collection,” Clare shared. “I’ve always been fascinated by the blend of men’s utilitarian style with feminine design elements. These collections merge both seamlessly, in color, fabric, and form, creating a wardrobe of effortlessly interchangeable pieces.”
