On June 14, 2024, Cartier Eyewear launched its Precious Collection at Paris Miki in S Maison, unveiling stunning pieces for Filipino luxury eyewear enthusiasts. For the first time in Cartier’s eyewear history, solid gold pieces in yellow, white, or rose are showcased, adorned with meticulously set diamonds of various sizes for unparalleled embellishment. Each pair is painstakingly crafted by artisans using the traditional “Sertissage” technique, ensuring each diamond is securely embedded into the frame.
The Cartier Precious Collection features frames made from solid gold, diamonds, and lenses enhanced with an 18-carat gold coating flash. Solid gold not only signifies superior quality and durability but also offers resistance to acids, ensuring longevity. Crafted over at least six months from order placement to completion, each piece reflects the dedication of Cartier’s skilled artisans.
Highlighted in the collection are the CT0421O and CT0422O, two optical unisex styles epitomizing Cartier’s mastery in working with the finest materials. Both feature a rimless rectangular front design with bridges and temples in 18-carat white, yellow, or rose gold, adorned with a 66-diamond double C décor and details of godron and C décor sprinkled with diamonds.
