Gucci spring-summer 2025: From city chic to beach bliss

A collection that is ‘an ode to freedom’

From urban jungles to sun-kissed shores, Gucci’s Creative Director Sabato de Sarno unveils a spring-summer 2025 collection that is “an ode to freedom.”

Sabato sails away from the signature pieces of his fall 2024 show. Gone are the iconic red and green stripes, the beloved Jackie bags, and the classic Diamante monogram. Instead, for spring-summer 2025, the designer dives into netting and short shorts, perfect for catching those summer rays.

Chocolate brown makes waves throughout the collection, harmonizing with breezy hues of blue, violet, green, and pink. Tailored jackets and outerwear get a light and airy makeover, ready to transition from a chic city night to a spontaneous beach dip. Sparkly tassel tops shimmered on the runway, evoking disco fever on a luxurious yacht.

In the accessory department, while the Jackie bag took a vacation, the Gucci B bag, available in various sizes, strutted down the runway. The Horsebit detailing galloped onto a few small bags and belts. Other accessories included bracelets and necklaces crafted from metal and bamboo, and chunky sunglasses secured with vibrant Gucci straps.
