LOOK: Lacoste and Thrasher collide for a flaming crocodile logo
The two icons unite for maiden collaboration
After two playful collaborations this year with A.P.C. and Minecraft, Lacoste gets in a hotter setting with its iconic crocodile logo going on fire. The French clothing brand teams up with skateboarding label Thrasher for a capsule that blends both brands’ symbols and silhouettes.
Thrasher was founded by entrepreneurs Eric Swenson and Fausto Vitello back in 1981 and has been the symbol of all-things skateboarding and fashion culture. This year, the skateboarding brand lends its flare and flames to Lacoste’s silhouettes and iconic logo. The pieces in the capsule such as the polo shirt in Terry cloth, a hoodie, t-shirt, and tracksuit sport a co-branded logo of crocs in flame.
The capsule also puts a spotlight on Thrasher’s hometown, San Francisco, California as the famous Golden Gate plays host to the visual campaign of the collection.
