LOOK: Yoshinoya’s revamped branch exudes authentic Japanese dining experience
Their beef bowl is still the best in town
If you are a fan of Japanese food, you already know that Yoshinoya has one of the best tasting gyudon bowls out there. Now, in partnership with Jollibee Foods Corporation in the Philippines, the restaurant offers more Japanese food treats in their newly revamped spaces all over town.
“Japanese food lovers in the metro are in for a treat. We will give our customers the authentic Yoshinoya experience, as if they were dining in Yoshinoya Japan,” says Ned Bandojo, business development head of Jollibee Group Foreign Franchised Brands. “This forms part of our commitment to offer Filipinos with great tasting food and make Yoshinoya the number one Japanese quick service restaurant in the country,”
For the relaunch, Yoshinoya serves a beefed-up menu in a newly redesigned contemporary and casual Japanese space headlined by their world-famous gyudon. This beef bowl features thin strips of tender beef slowly cooked in the brand’s signature sauce, which can be enjoyed with togarashi, red ginger, onsen (egg), green onions, and even creamy cheese toppings.
Also included on the expanded menu are tempura, chicken karaage, chicken teriyaki, beef yakiniku, ramen, and other side dishes such as gyoza, kani salad, and miso soup. For sweet treats, customers can enjoy the brand’s Matcha mochi ice cream and coffee jelly for desserts.
The opening of the rebranded Yoshinoya stores officially seals Jollibee Group’s first foray into Japanese food. Yoshinoya Jollibee Foods Inc., which will operate the Yoshinoya stores in the country, plans to expand to 50 stores in the long term to serve more Filipinos with authentic yet affordable Japanese food.
Yoshinoya is located at Glorietta 1, Ayala Center, Makati and will be officially open to the public starting today, August 19, 2022.
